Two Step for full correction

This client responded to by request for a car needed for a magazine photoshoot spread. We set the date, the original model canceled last minute, and a new date was set. New date couldn’t work with the clients schedule, so we opted to use this car for another reason (more to come later on that).

Once the client arrived, I could see that there was just a slight amount of swirling that needed to be corrected and bring out the gloss that be shown on a car of this caliber. Obviously a year of proper wash maintenance was doing a good job, but the car lacked any real deep gloss. The car was shiny, but not glossy to my eyes. Going around the car, I spotted things that I noticed needed to be addressed…dirty wheels (HRE), dry looking carbon fiber, rough to the touch paint, smudged clear bra, etc. From front to back, the whole car needed to be addressed

Total process was about 16 hours for a two step process over the whole car.

Washed twice throughout

Clayed to remove bonded contaminants

Lightly compounded, with some areas getting spot corrected

Polish round to remove haze and restore gloss

Paintwork cleanser to prep for sealant wax application

Sealant wax application

Interior cleaning and conditioning with damp towels

Light interior polishing on doors, by hand on center console

Waxed interior doors and center console

Vacuumed and dusted interior

Wheels dressed, windows cleaned

HERE IS WHAT I NEED FROM THE AUDIENCE READING/LOOKING

Pick the best after picture you would want on the wall of your house, on your desk, etc. What is the picture (from those provided) that you would want printed? I am not a pro photographer, but rather a pro detailer/paint reconditioner, so keep that in mind!

Nice work Eric!

I'd say this pic out of the ones above.

The last pic is nice too but I'm not sure why that random guy is standing next to the car! :pop2:

how about cleaning the wheels inside walls how is that done

excuse the stupid questions but i just found this forum and although not a pro detailer detailing my car is my me time when all the worries go away for those few hours, i would never even guested this can be done.
