enough is enough

after spending every other week during the summer cleaning my car i think have enough already.

i live in nyc.

no matter how clean or how scratch free my car is, it only get dirty or scratches the next week

how do everyone keep their car so clean and scratch free?

dosent it break your heart after you spend hours of your life detailing the car and all of a sudden a bird decide to crap on it?

it seems like im battling a battle i cant win:argue
 
I feel your pain !!! I battle Wind and dust here in the High Desert on a hourly basis it seems... Gotta love Black too !!!

I dont know what you do now, but maybe consider using QEW or S&W.



With both of those, you will probably work on your car more often, but each of them take less time than a normal wash so your car can be cleaner more often :)

ouitsider, I feel your pain! I'm also in NYC city and find that a good wash last for about 6 hours and my car (black) is dirty again. Thank god for PB SW, it's the only way I can make it to the following weekend so I can wash it again.
 
It helps me to keep in mind that I am detailing the car for right now. I love the feeling a get when I finish, stand back and look at the job I've done. But living in Seattle and not having a garage, I know it will not last. Nevertheless, even dirty my car looks better than 99% of the cars on the road.
 
The best way to keep your car clean in NYC is to move out. The city is a sewer, you couldnt keep a car clean if you sealed it in a zip lock bag. Assuming that you dont get carjacked while your putting it in the bag.
