Engine Detaling with s100 Total Cycle Cleaner

I will be picking up some s100 total cycle cleaner this week to detail my engine bay. I've read many of the posts on this forum and the general procedure is to spray on and hose off.

Is there a way I can avoid using the garden hose? Can I dilute the cleaner with water and just spray and wipe with a towel? Or spray the cleaner first and then mist with distilled water and wipe?

Any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate. Thanks!

WOW!! We can use S100 Total Cycle Cleaner in the engine bay?? I picked up some of this stuff when I first discovered Autopia, but never heard it was up to engine-cleaning, and really haven't found a good use for it in my car-detailing. I'm going to watch this thread to see what other folks have to offer.

well, it is used to degrease motorcycle parts including swingarms and to dress the hoses all in one step. i guess i never thought to use it on an engine bay. in fact, i have 4 motorcycles and don't even own s100 cycle cleaner or honda polish. haha.
