engine cleaning question with no rinse

Was looking for some advice on engine cleaning

I currently use ONR when washing the car and I have been using the same process in a way to clean the engine by hand.. it does take some time.. and it comes out looking pretty great for the most part but I wanted to get a better job out of it… I do not use any degreasers currently but I want to start.. but I need something that is biodegradable.. I cant have any harsh chemicals flying around since I am green and I am on the customers location .

donavin629- What about something citrus-based, like P21s TAW? Of course, the oily/greasy grime you're cleaning off can present some environmental concerns in-and-of itself....



Or, what about using solvents, and taking the dirty cloths/swabs/etc. with you (observing proper precautions)?
