I was just in his Shop, a couple of weeks ago. That Caddy was still in metal working stages. The amazing engine was done, and as usual, his work is absolutely incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also met Sherrie from the "Overhauling" Series there - this gal is amazingly talented. How many of us can say we can take any dashboard and all associated wiring and electronics out, and replace it with new perfectly, customizing it as needed, so that when it's all done, it is another piece of artwork that compliments the Foose design ???
He also had an older Ford Bronco that he was customizing for Keifer Sutherland in there.
They told me that the crunch to get it all done by SEMA was starting.
He uses 3M products and tools in the paintshop for finishing the paint. All awesome tools, mostly all air powered.
Drawings all over the walls, amazing, beautiful interpretations of what the normal cars should look like.
If there would ever be a guy that could bring such incredible, thoughtful, just perfect work (that you do not notice, but you KNOW that something has been done, until you figure it out) to the entire Industry, it would be this amazingly talented, humble, man...
My lucky daughter and her family are so lucky to live just a couple miles if that from his Shop!!!!!!

I was happy to see Jessi Combs from Xtreme 4x4 and Mythbusters on the new Overhaulin show. I think she is a talented girl and role model, I tried to get my own daughters interested but they took after their mother - girlie girls!
I'm sure that Jessi's time with the master - Chip Foose, will be better than Phd anywhere else. Unlike a few shows I've seen, Overhaulin makes amazing rides without crazy bizillion watt stereos and 14 TV monitors, in other words, cars that you can drive without worrying about breaking 20K in electronics.
BTW - that last show where they overhauled a 65 Impala for that young marine had this old grunt a little watery eyed too.
