Eisenhulk Detailed: 2008 F430 Scuderia

Hey, guys. Just thought I'd post a few pics of a new Scuderia I detailed this past weekend. I was contacted by this gentleman who lives about an hour and twenty minutes from Lexington, so needless to say, this was my first travel detail. The weather was terrible on the drive down...Upper 20's and snow flurries. Luckily, the owner had the heaters in the garage going for me, so it wasn't too bad.

This wasn't a full blown detail...Just a wash, light polishing, and making sure the wheels, carbon fiber and paint was protected for winter. The owner took delivery of the car exactly one week before I arrived, so it had around 150 miles on the clock.

Exterior:

ONR Wash

Spot claying using Riccardo Clay (ONR for lube)

Dried using Blue Perl waffle weave drying towel

91% IPA Wipedown

SIP/4" LC Orange (Couple of areas for heavy swirls)

106FF/4" LC White Pad via PC (Most of the car received this)

91% IPA Wipedown

Megs #16 as my LSP\

Glass cleaned with Stoner's IG

Wheels/Tires:

Wheels cleaned using P21S Wheel Gel

Tires cleaned using ARO

Tires dressed with Z16x2

Carbon Fiber:

All interior & exterior carbon fiber first received an ONR wash/wipedown, then Opti-Seal was used to protect.

Enough of this....On with the pics. Not a lot of before and afters. I couldn't really take pics outside due to the weather.

Many thanks, guys!

Pat,

It was totally worth the drive.

Thanks, David & Daniel.

Muchas gracias, Ryan. Great talking to you tonight. I really appreciate the information.

Very Nice Work. I feel every exotic/high end vehicle should receive a professional prep/protection package. I'm surprise the exhaust tank is so swirled right from the factory. It almost looks like raw alloy instead of like the high polished one's I usually see.

Thanks, David. I couldn't agree more. I'll be paying the car another visit probably at the end of the summer for full blown detail. I asked the owner about the tank, if he wanted it polished out, and he said not to worry about it at this time. I've never seen so much carbon fiber on a car in my entire life.

Tell him to hardwire that V1. It looks horrible that way. Also tell him to get it all the way up to the headliner and get a concealed display and run it in stealth.

Paint looks great.

Congrats on getting the opportunity to work on such an esoteric vehicle!

BTW...good luck out in Pasadena!

Thanks, man. I'll pass that along to him.
