Edge pads and SIP (rotary)

Why dont these 2 like each other. I was having a hell of a time trying to work with SIP on my Edge pads (green, orange)



Rydawg said that SIP works better with LC orange (closed cell)? I will definitely take his advice.



Does anyone here use SIP with Edge pads and how do you like it? I mean the correction was flawless, but man it was so hard to work with....

what exactly is the issue- hop and grab? The LC CCS pads seem to allow for smoother rotary operation with water based polishes.
 
Yea I was using the Edge pads, it was VERY VERY grabby. It literally started to squeak on the paint and left some really hard to remove smudges.



I think I will be going with wool for cutting.
