Edge Pads Amazing Customer Service Excellence!!

Hi all:

I have been lurking around Detail City for over a year and have learned a lot about keeping my Jeeps looking great year round. By reading the posts recommending products and vendors, I have purchased many fine products. All sponsored vendors have provided excellent products and good customer service; however, Edge Pads stands far above all the rest!

The first pads I purchased were Megs--maybe it was me, but centering the Meg pad was not precise and the velcro was useless after several applications. In sharp contrast, centering the Edge Pad was a snap (pun intended), and since Edge does not rely on velcro, their pad will stay like new for a long time. Aaron has certainly invented a superior "mousetrap". I sure hope Edge Pads has an air-tight patent!! If you haven't tried Edge Pads yet, I suggest you give them a try, for sure you won't be disappointed.

Dear Aaron:

Enclosed please find the old adapter and the pads for replacement. As mentioned, the blue pad was used once last week and the 2 white ones are new, except I did open the plastic of one of white pads.

I appreciate your prompt email response on a Saturday agreeing to my request!! I have never received such superb customer service from any other company. I also know the importance of Customer Service Excellence as I have been president of multi-national companies in the past before owning my own business. For the president of a company to be so heavily involved in customer service and personally answering email inquiries is unheard of! I applaud your efforts.

Since I am only a weekend detailer enthusiast, I don’t know the relative size of your company compared to your competition. However, if you continue to make superior, innovative products, and continue to provide Customer Service Excellence, Edge Pads will soon dwarf their competition.

Oh, even if you didn’t agree to the pad replacement, I would have sent you this letter. The fact that the President of Edge responded to my inquiry in less than a day on a Saturday, is already amazing customer service.

I intend to post this letter in Detail City, if you don’t mind. My first post ever!

A great to see Threads like this. I makes purchasing particular products a breeze. I'm gonna try my hardest to get my hands on some Edge to try. Unfortunately this is not a good time to have a costly hobby:wall

Aaron is the man, and Edge rocks. Finally compounded/polished one of our trucks this weekend. Edge pads were awsome, and the custom 4" orange and blue pads he sent me at no charge to try worked great to spot buff certain areas.
 
I would like to congratulate you on your CS and products.
Every thread every forum has said great things about the edge pads
along with out standing CS. I have not ordered the Edge System as of yet only because i have been procrastanating(sp) .Patrick has highly reccomended that i try the Edge Pads and i will in the very near future.Arron Congrats to you and the Edge Pads..
 
I agree Jeepsey. Aaron does go the extra mile.

I have had several back and forth PM's with Aaron. I find him to be strait to the point and forth right. It is hard to ask for more than that.
 
Thats a nice post. I have yet to order from edge however i know they have great products and great customer serivce like all the spsonsors. Im honeslty convinced dwayne makes that a requiremt. Cudos(sp) to Edge for there great work
 
Aaron has provided outstanding customer service and backs his products 100%. He's graciously exchanged adapters and pads when improved versions became available. Thanks a million Aaron!!
 
i once cursed at Aaron but he simply laugh @ me...ok ok j/k Aaron and his staff have my respect and my business....well Dedication to detail must keep a few promises one great c.s (as they always have)....two diversify...three open a location in souther ca or move your current location(just kidding Aaron but remember ill be here if you change your mind)

Aaron is a great company representative. I just received an orange 6" 2000 wave pad from him today. I spoke to him last week asking if or when Edge would be producing this pad as this color/texture hasn't been available before. Apparently they are very close to coming to the market he sent me one. I look forward to using it soon. I'll do a little write up once I've had the chance to use. It is nice to know that a manufacturer actually cares about what I think. EDGE = Great Customer Service.
 
To follow up on my earlier post, I sent my old adapter and earlier version pads for replacement to Aaron on Monday and today (Wednesday), I received my replacements. How's that for Customer Service Excellence??

However, it gets even better--Aaron included a FREE gift!! It's a funny looking waffle-like blue pad. Maybe Aaron can tell us when the waffle pad should be used and its advantages over the normal flat pad. Also, the new versions of the blue and white pads are extremely soft and should perform even better than the original versions.
