Edge pad alternative to LC Orange?

it was my first time...
Just as the title states, I need to buy a couple of pads and would like to go through PAC. I've been curious to try the LC Orange PC pads but Dwayne doesn't stock them, so I'm wondering which Edge classic pad is most similiar to the orange??? I'm thinking its the green(light cut) pad, but though i'd double check. I want something thats a tad more aggressive than the LC polishing pads, but not as aggressive as the LC yellow pads. So let me know if the Edge classic green pad is what i'm looking for.

The green Edge pad seems a little more aggressive than the LC white pad, but it's not nearly as aggressive as the LC yellow pad.
 
Thanks, thats what I though. One last question, will I encounter any problems using the Edge pads with my 6" PC BP??? Under the product description it says "These pads work best with a 5 inch backing plate and are designed for use with the Porter Cable Random-Orbit, Dual-Action Polisher." I remember seeing people prematurely wear out their Meguiar's pads with the 6" BP, I'm wondering if it will happen with these to?? The only pads that i've used on my PC are LC, and have yet to have a problems with them and the BP. Any info would be appreciated.

you wont have any initial problems but if your goin on speed 6 they have a tendency to separate from the backing adhesive (at least for me it did). thats why i mainly use them w/ the rotory. You dont need the 5" backing plate but it does keep the bp from tearing into the rear of the pad.
