Not sure if we have any Autopians from East Tennessee on here, but figured I'd give it a shot. Original thread on Autogeek:

East Tennessee get together - Auto Geek Online Auto Detailing Forum

Anybody up for an East Tennessee get together? I'm in Knoxville, about 10 minutes from I-75 Exit 110 (Callahan Road). Garage is up and coming and should be done soon. Wouldn't mind seeing something come together in the spring, perhaps get a sponsor or 2? I have the Flex 3401,the Griot's Garage 6 inch, the Metro Vac N'Blo, and the Grit Guard Universal Pad Washer, plus plenty of products to try. Anybody else in?

The date of April 11-13, 2014 was suggested, which works fine for me. I am flexible as far as the date is concerned, so if you have something else in mind let me know.

I'm more than willing to host a get together. My garage should be done relatively soon, and am able to park a number of cars in the driveway and in the street. Personally, I'd rather use a member's car to work on, but I can possibly get a black loaner car from one of the dealerships I work at if need be. Id like to come but I will be staying up in Pigeon Forge for Rod Run that weekend. Im definitely not far from you though! Do you know Tim Smith? I think he works at Rusty Wallace Honda too.

If he has a Subaru STI rally car and a Subaru BRZ then yes I do know who he is. Don't really know him personally though.

Do you think you might be able to make it for a get together?

Yeah thats him! I may depending on when you all do it exactly. I live in Clinton so Im not that far out. It just depends on what day and what time you decide to. As of now Im planning on being up at Rod Run Friday to Sunday but if something changes I definitely can come.
 
OK guys! We're about a month out from our meet! The date is April 12. I would like to get a better idea as to who is coming (if at all possible), so here's what I need from you:

1. Your name

2. What you would like to do or work on (maybe you want to improve your buffing skills or maybe you just want to try out different products and play around - this isn't formal so pretty much anything goes as far as I'm concerned)

3. What you would like to eat/drink

4. What products/tools you would like to bring

5. What products/tools you would to try out

6. Any ideas on a vehicle(s) to work on

7. Anything else you would like to add


Also, if you would like to do a product swap or you have anything you just don't want any more, feel free to bring it along.
