Easiest wax to put on without weather strip stain?

Hi,

Just wondering, which is the quickest, easiest wax to apply and not worry about taping off weather trim rubber pieces? I remember previously how some wax when stained onto the rubber weather trim will make it lighter and look white. Are there any products where I do not have to worry about taping up my weather trims?

The best practice is to simply avoid apply wax to trim and rubber. But whit that said I think you should look into Optimum Car Wax (OCW). OCW is a spray wax with a durability of most paste waxes around 3-4 months. It doesn't seem to stain trim or rubber and looks good as well. It is one of my personal favorites.

Thanks! i just ordered a bottle. By the way, how can I tell if my car needs more wax in the 3-4 months?

You will notice the beading and sheeting of the water "fall off".

When you get your OCW read the directions and do some testing before doing the whole vehicle. Try spraying it onto you MF towel then applying it and buffing it off. This seems to work for most guys.
