I thought I would add a quick review of the Eagle Edgeless towel Eagle Edgeless 16 x 16 Microfiber Towel | The Rag Company
Let me start by saying I am NOT a professional detailer. I do enjoy detailing my own cars and trucks .I use a Porter Cable 7424 XP and apparently I have a severe weakness when it comes to buying detail products.
With that being said, I have purchased several different rags and towels . I have bought some expensive ones along the line too. As it stands right now, For quick detailing and final buffing, My go to rag is the Eagle Edgeless. I was so impressed with this towel when I first used it that I immediately purchased more of them. Right now , I currently have 5 blues and 4 orange towels in the 16 x16 size . They are also offered in the 16 x 24 size. I prefer the 16 x 16 size as it allows equal folding but that`s just me. Be sure to wash these rags before use because they can shed a little right out of the bag. Once they have been washed , I have experienced zero shedding. They are 480 GMS with a 70/30 blend . They are Korean made and are very soft. They are identical on both sides and have no edges to scratch or mar your paint. As I stated earlier , I have several towels from different company`s and I find these to be my go too towel. Give them a try and you will see what I mean. If you are new to detailing, Let me save you some time and pain related experience. Just because it`s a microfiber rag does NOT mean it will not scratch your paint. There are plenty of places to use your general duty rags but not on your paint. If you really want to see how easily paint can swirl or mar, Get a black vehicle. Here is a pic of my truck after detailing using these rags for polish, glaze and wax removal. Enjoy
