E60 M5 - Swirl City!!!

Hi everyone, first post here.



I'm based in the UK and although I knock around on some of the UK forums I thought I'd join up and say hi :xyxthumbs



By means of introduction here is an M5 I detailed a couple of days ago.



It was heavily swirled and the paint was very hard, Sonus 6" SFX-1 (yellow) and Menzerna Power Gloss finished with Sonus 6" SFX-2 (white) and Menzerna Final Finish.

Swirling. It was like this all over, including bonnet, so the after pics of bonnet show the results.

:shocked WOOOOOO look at that reflection... I havent' seen a bmw look like that... EVER! Haha, it makes it 10x better since it's a M5, those things can move! Did you use pc or FPII? Did you have a hard time with the paint, BMW paints are extremely hard also, and a pain to deal with. Great job again, seriously, my jaws dropped when i saw the picture. :bow
 
Thanks everyone, it was with a PC so took a looonnnnggg time.



Start the car at 8am, got to the polishing stage at 1pm, waxing started 5pm, car finished 6pm.



The paint was very hard.
 
Wow, that Beast was scruffy. :( I have an E60 550i in Jet Black and I swear you get swirls just looking at it. (The M5 is Sapphire Black). But that one was excessive.

Fantastic work as she now looks better than new. :2thumbs:
