NASIOC Member AttaQ bought an 04 M3 a few months back and called me out to detail it for him.
I've done his WRX and his CTS-V for him before, and his wife's Jetta. Time to get my hands on the M3.
The car was in very good shape when I got there, the swirling was minor, a few minor scuffs on the lower pass side skirts that mosty buffed out.
Here's the process I used on it:
Wash with foam gun
clay
wash again
Hi-Temp wheel cleaner
Meguiars Hyperdressing 3:1 on tires and all exterior vinyl trim (cowl, black plastic on the hood, window trim)
Stoners Invisible Glass on exterior glass
DACP with a Meguiars cutting pad on the few scuffs/scratches
Menzerna Final Polish
Meguiars NXT 2.0
Exhaust cleaned with #0000 Steele wool & generic glass cleaner, polished with Mothers Metal Polish
Here are the pics:
After the wash/clay/wash/dry
Exhaust before (sorry for the blurry pic)
Exhaust afters
some leftover polish on the pain above the tips
