Dusty Aftermath

After an SSR or a polish there is a lot of dust left over after it's buffed off and wiped away. Do you guys QD or wash before applying a wax on top? I"ve tried wiping it away gently and I've tried QD the dust off before waxing -- sometimes it induces a lot of swirls.

How do you avoid all of the dust that builds up on the car and wiping it away without creating swirls?

How was this applied and which SSR are you using?
 
I get some dusting as well with my SSR line (remember to keep the sunroof closed!)...
I used my Cali duster to remove some of it (not very effective) and a QD and MF towel to lightly remove the rest. I never applied anything else to the paint while the dust was on there.
 
FWIW, try using less product and see if your dustng issues subside. I don't experience any dusting with the SSR's anymore.
 
Another option to consider is to change pads when the dusting occurs. But using less product is also a very viable option.

this was what I was going to suggest and work the product in allot more in smaller areas..I have very little dusting issues with any of the SSR's....If I have any removing issues or dusting....I use S&W and that solves it
 
I tried all the suggestions everyone gave and Wow! Completely different much more manageable and a lot quicker to do a full detail. I used much less product and worked smaller areas. I think I was afraid of not having enough product to lubricate between the pad and the paint. It seems that the pads hold a lot of product and throughout the detail you can use less and less product and still get the same results. Maybe not, but it seems that way :D

Hopefully I can take pics tomorrow.
