Dusting when using SSR 1

We really need a lot more information... we aren't mind readers.
What pad did you use? Did you ''prime' the pad? and with what? How much did you use? What speeds were you running it on? What type of surface were you working on (clean, dirty, clayed, waxed etc)? Stuff like that. Then we can go into whats going wrong.

sorry about that,

i use LC pads, sorry i dont know what prime is??, i just made an X on the pad with the SSR1,i use speed 3 to apply and 5 to work it in, the surface was freshly clayed.

Priming the pads is when the user either puts some QD, water or the product on the pad before starting so the pad will be 'primed' and not just the pad rubbing on the paint. The SSRs don't like the QD or water but it looks like that wasn't the problem either. The X seems like the right amount of product, but I usually do a circle around the perimeter of the pad. Not sure if that will help either...It seems like everything was used correctly, maybe someone else can help further.

OK one more thing what type of pad or which color was it.

IT WAS A LAKE COUNTY WHITE POLISHING PAD, AND YES I DID SPRAY IT WITH SOME QD BEFORE I STARTED.

No need for the caps. I think they are just trying to get all of the information so they can help you to the best of their abilities. All of the information will also ensure that there isn't any misinformation given.

hahah i didnt realize i had the caps on, sorry about that.

but yea there wasn't a whole lot of dust but enough to where i would have to wipe down other area that i have dont already.

Well maybe it was the QD then, as I said the SSRs don't like to be primed. Try again by priming the pad with the product itself (smear it on the surface of the pad) and then see what happens

when i use poorboys, i put a spot on the pad about the size of a nickel. i spread it on 2 or 3, then go to 5 to work it in. i find this gives me very little dust.

What size are, about 2'x2'?
Good info. That's less than I use, I think.
