Duragloss SUV polish?

I was at my local Car Quest today and in their closeout bin they had several boxes of Duragloss products. One was called SUV Polish but it's not on their website so I assume it's a discontinued product. Anyone know about this product and how it compares to Duragloss 105? They also have about half dozen bottles of 111. Is it necessary to use their 101 before and is it comparable to 105 that I hear a lot of favorable comments about?

The SUV polishis no longer available...I do not know what it compares to...is it a 8oz or 16ozz..just curious......and no you do not need to use 101 before 105..its just a combo that looks good...

careful on buying close out products..they may have aged and gone bad....if they are cheap enough grab one and see......if it is curdled its no good..if it is still creamey..try it....if its not expensive.....

111 has a very glossy look....sorta like Klasse Sg or Zaino

105 has a deeper look...and wetter look...sorta like zaino z5pro...105 is the newest product.....and very nice

I also bought some DG 108 SUV Polish at CQ this Spring. I contacted Duragloss about it. They stated it was pretty much like DG 101, but discontinued. It's more of a cleaner/AIO product. They stated they would replace it if I felt the product was too old. I shook it up, and it worked fine. I actually liked it a little better than 101. I thought it cleaned slightly better, and was easier to remove. It's also larger (16 oz -- I believe). I paid full price for mine, and would buy more if it was on clearance. Here's some pics of my "SUV" after only DG 108 was applied:

Names like that just kill me. What will they think of next- subcompact polish? Duragloss makes some pretty good stuff. 105 is probably the best bet followed by AW.

Just think of the possabilities, there could be literally THOUSANDS of polishes, each specifically formulated for a year, color, make, model of vehicle... no more wondering if you have the right polish... own a red 1986 honda civic? Try the red 1986 honda civic polish :chuckle:

All our posts on here would become increasingly less complicated:

NEW POST - "Whats the best product for my purple 1992 dodge caravan?"

REPLY - "Thats easy Noob... try the purple 1992 dodge caravan polish"

:har:

No more write ups to accompany the Click & Brags... b/c just based on the pictures we'd know what he used... and I'm thinking Todd from Tropical Detailing would have the largest selection of color specific exotic car polishes on here :chuckle:

Now see, the problem is that's not really an "SUV". Just like my 06 Ford Escape, they are really "compact 5 passenger SUV's"

Do they also make a "compact SUV polish"??? ;)
