Duragloss Nu-Glass

Just ordered some last night and I'm waiting for it to be delivered.

- Has anyone used this product with any success in removing etched on water spots?

- The description of the product says it can be used with a buffer. Should I stick with an LC white pad or could I use something more aggressive (orange) if need be?

This stuff is the one Duragloss product I would not recommend. Be prepared for some wicked dusting and not much polishing.

Great. Now I guess I know why it was so cheap.

Any suggestions for removing water spots etched on glass? The vinegar trick didn't work. I've heard 0000 steel wool + vinegar but using steel wool on glass just doesn't sit well with me.

Could I try some 105 (which I have) and say a polishing pad or is that too harsh for glass?

I was also thinking of trying Clearkote's Vanilla Moose (which I also have). The product description says it can be used effectively on glass.

Uno actually works pretty well on glass. Its not THAT much better than the DG stuff, but at least it dusts a whole lot less. You have to remember, glass makes paint seem soft.

I live where the well water is as hard as a rock and to get of waterspots I use clay. It works great as long as it is not etched. If it is etched you may have to polish with diamond polish or something like that.
