Duragloss 601 and Paste Wax?

Talked to the guys at Duragloss. They said 601 would help some in the bonding of a paste wax. But not to the degree as 601 and 105. May just try 601 with a wax.

I'm having trouble figuring out the point of the thread... Are you asking us whether we think 601+paste wax would be a good idea? :)

Anyhow, I've heard that 105 is ages better than the paste wax, so I don't really see the point of using the paste wax when you can use a $9.99 bottle of 105! :)

I see what MDRX8 is getting at. For those that love the look of a fine carnauba paste wax (Pinnacle Souveran, P21S, etc) it might be possible to increase the durability by using DG 601 (Polish Bonding Agent) as the base. Interesting. Let us know what you find out MDRX8 and thanks for sharing!

Oooooh! I thought MDRX8 was specifically referring to the paste wax that DG offers. In that case here's my answer: I think that the 601 would work just like a cleaner wax (KAIO, ColorX) or a polish. IMO, a properly prepped surface (something that a product like 601 would help with) contributes to the durability of any paste wax.
