Duragloss 105 and Klasse SG

Have any of you tried applying DG 101 or 105 with KSG on top? I was planning on doing my car this weekend, the usual wash, clay, possible some Sonus Paintwork Cleanser (if not using DG 101). Was wondering what the results would be, durability and looks. Am I better off just going with one system 101 + 105 or KAIO + KSG? If it makes a difference, the car is an Audi A4 Avant with Dolphin Grey Metallic Paint.

Are you looking for something with a little cleaning power? I was suggesting replacing the 101 or 105 with 111.

To a certain extent, the paint looks pretty good, a few minor surface swirls so I need something that preps the surface before applying either the KSG, DG 105 or as suggested DG 111. I have in the past used DG 111 on top of KSG with success, figured that I might want to try it the other way, KSG on top of a DG prepped surface. I do like how the DG 105 looks on the Grey Metallic paint though.

Basically your talking about 2 sealents, KG and DG 111/105, why n ot top a sealent or both with a good carnuba. FK Pink Wax is cost effective , easy to use and looks awesome.

Yea, wasn't 'the perfect shine' a pure carnuba over a sealant? (secret being a pure wax, not one with cleaners).

Not sure I'd top DG with KSG, but I do top DG with AW.

I was under the assumption that AW was a spray sealent.
It IS. I was just mentioning that I just topped my DG TPP 105 with DG Aquawax. My 'plan' is to refresh the DG with AW every other wash or so because it's quick and easy. I'm uncertain if I would trust any spray on/wipe off alone, but as a topper/rejuvinator for the DG 105, I think it makes sense.

I went ahead and did the car, first the Sonus cleaner, then 105 followed by 111 per the earlier advice finally topped with 2 coats of KSG. The car looks awesome (in the garage), will have to see it tomorrow in the sunlight. Thanks for all the advice. I have used AW in the past which is a nice product. For some reason (call me crazy), I like the sealant look better on this color/car, the carnauba makes it too dark. Might consider the AW for upkeep in a few weeks.
