durability questions??

lets say one coat of sealant brand x lasts one month , and one coat of wax brand y lasts one month

if i apply one coat of sealant and then one coat of wax over it...after the first month will that mean the sealant is still intact and i have another months protection left ??

or doesnt it work like that

I've been thinking about this for quite some time and it would seem to make sense.

What about multiple layers of the same sealant? Would the longevity increase exponentially? With multiple layers we could easily get a year or more worth of protection.??? Wouldn't one layer be sacrificial for the next?

What about any solvent content in the layered products if not using the same sealant? Doesn't ANY solvent content degrade the previous layer?

Look at FK1's system. Supposedly everything is compatible and layerable. What if you had multiple layers of 2180, 1000P, Pink Wax and FX-1000 wouldn't it be possible to get unlimited durability out of that??? Collinite 476s on top of Zaino; a bulletproof combination??? Continual weekly additions of Aquawax should be similar???

It all seems to make sense but for some reason(s) it doesn't seem to work that way.
