Durability ? How long will these combo's last?

I wondering how many months an owner will get out of these recent combo's i recently did.



combo 1:

VM , RMG, UPP x 3, Natty's Blue x 2



combo 2:

VM, RMG, WG x 2, Natty Blue x 2



combo 3:

AIO, SG x 2, Natty's Blue x 2



From here on in, they are going to hand wash, and quick detail spray and when applicable, apply a coat of natty's blue.



So with that regiment, how long will this stuff last ? 2-3 months ? 3-4 months ? 4-5 months ? 6+ months ?



Notables: They are cars that will be driven in hars canadian winters.

Why do you use both VM AND RMG? What does that do?



I would expect the last combo to last the longest. Depending on exposure/climate, etc... you should get 3-4+ months from all 3 combo's listed. A single coat of Natty's should last 4 weeks or so, but again it's going to depend on how often the surface is washed/dried, and exposed to the weather.

if you search, many detailers do employ the use of VM and RMG.. for added "pop" and depth I can only see.

Harsh Canadian winters will limit the durability of ANY combo. My guess is 1 to 3 months depending on how harsh.

SG would do better in 6 coats for about 6 months worth or maybe 4 months in harsh winters .

RMG isn't the greatest base for any sealant to stick to although some do not have " trouble " doing so , I know their durability is decreased .

I would go with VM with polishing pad , wash to remove excess oils , then AIO with finishing pad or by hand .

Then SG by hand 3-4 coats 24 hours apart each . 1st 2 coats same day
