A local forum member approached me about having his 999R corrected for the first time after seeing the 1199 Panigale I did recently.  Owner decided on an 80%+ correction and we went with a 2-step correction to achieve this.  About 7 hours went into this job.

As it looked upon arrival

No wax present at all on the paint....no water beading whatsoever, bike needed some love.

After washing and claying I brought it inside to get it ready for correction work.  Plenty of defects to deal with.

After compounding and before the final polishing, here are a few sun shots.  The sun was setting so I got what sun pics I could.  The final polishing would bring more gloss and clarity to the paint.

Thanks for checking it out!

Gorgeous work.

Do you mind me asking what you used for the carbon fiber

and the wind screen? Also, how do you deal with all of the small

nooks and crannies?

Thank you.

HD Cut and HD Polish on 3" pads sorted out all of the above.
