Garry Dean

Garry Dean Quality!
Sorry guys, I was uploading the video at my shop earlier and had to run out so my laptop went to sleep and the upload aborted...

I am uploading again now. I will start a new thread.

Must've uploaded it with one of these bad boys:

modem.jpg

:ranger:

I actually used one of those once. for a whopping 300 bps. (.0375 kb per second). One picture the resolution of the modem pic would take an hour to download.

Jeez... I think my first modem was 9600 baud. Used it to log on to CompuServe from an old Tandy PC

I can't imagine a 300 baud connection. Even ASCII graphics would take forever to download.

Hehe, had a Tandy 1000 way back when and used CompuServe for a while. On a 300 baud modem, you can watch the ascii being drawn... :work:

With an external CGA monitor, that was fun times.

4 color was the way to go! 12" models were going for 2k back in the mid 80's. Actually, Tandy had the option for 16 color (EGA), if you wanted to really break the bank. :bat
