Drying Microfibers

I have several Microfibers from pakshak, and was curious about drying, as i dont wanna mess up my expensive microfibers. Some instructions say use a low temp setting and some say to use no heat and to just tumble dry. Which one is it? what will heat do to the microfiber that is bad?

I place mine in the dryer until they are still damp and then I hang them on a folding clothes horse. You can pick them up at WalMart of under $9.

I too was nervous about washing my packshack MF's. I just dried them on permanent press until almost dry, then finish it up by 30min on air cycle:xyxthumbs

wash and dry....Low setting of course.....Im surprised some people on here dont take them to the dry cleaners !

I use our gas dryer on a low heat setting for my MF. The dryer has a moisture sensor setting switch which will shut the dryer off when done. I dry just MF and set it for slightly damp. The MF have been holding up well for two years.

Clothesline for me...a couple hours in the sunshine and fresh air and my MFs are some happy little towels.

A couple hours hanging on a line outside? I see the amount of crap that can accumulate on a car in just a few hours. I wouldn't want this stuff on the towels.

I dry mine in a gas dryer on low than they go directly into ziplock bags to prevent contamination.

I park my car away from the clothesline, so the stuff that accumulates on it won't get on the towels. ;)

I guess my air is cleaner down here in the sunny south, as I've never had a problem with crap accumulation while drying on the clothesline...Actually, I have less static electricity and the towels feel like they have more loft.

Ant they are some happy towels. :xyxthumbs

My wife bought me a couple of folding metal towel drying racks. I can put around 16 - 20 MF's on each one of them to dry. Works great, and the racks don't take up any room when not in use!

Same for me. I have 3 fold up wooden ones. I air dry all my MF's then throw in dryer for like 10 mins when dry.
