to whoever it was (i cant remember) that recommend taking the nozzle off the hose and using the pouring water to sheet off the car and sheet off most of the other water beeds to lessen the amount you wipe off. thanks! I love this method, it works very well, and cuts back on all the time spent on drying. I recommend everyone else try this method to. Pretty funny how you use water to dry your car, lol. :xyxthumbs

that's good unless you're using a CWB; in that case more water the better to make sure it glides easily

if you ever try going over a dry area with CWB, you'll notice a lot more friction.

I think it was carguy that wrote that up. Great advice. It does use more water, but if you wash the car quickly then maybe it won't really have much of an impact. If you are really environmentaly concious then perhaps you could use the cheap bottled water in the gallon jugs? :D Hey, it could happen! ;) Actually, since I moved into a house with a real driveway, I have found myself using that technique everytime I wash the car. It does work amazingly well. You get sort of a routine down and it takes practicaly zero time to dry the car. :) Very great trick. :up :up

I have been using this and I use a water shut off valve that came with a long arm garden spray. It is just an on/off valve so it basically is like running an plain hose, but you waste less water. I like it because it really helps to flow off the dirt rather than use pressure to blast it around. Also works well to get the car wet when starting the wash.
