jmsc- IMO the blowing-off should only be considered a means of getting most of the water off, not completely drying the vehicle. And yeah, you'll still need to go over it with a drying towel if you want to get *all* the water off.
It does go pretty fast though, at least if the leaf blower is equipped with an AirWand (I still love mine after years of use).
