I've heard alot about the California Water Blade from many posts I've read. Well, by looking around i've seen the Dry Blade...which is supposed to be the little brother of the california water blade (you can buy it at properautocare.com) and the Soft Touch Water Dryer...which i've seen at Walmart and I think you can buy it at the autopia shop (runs about $10), Has any one used any of these products?

People are torn on the CWB on this site. Some love it, and those are sneered at by those who hate it. Many who won't use it on their paint still use it on their glass.

I like it--using the CWB in conjunction with the WW drying towel makes major drying a 5 minute nonchore. If you do get one, be prepared for the noise. I live on the water and the sound bounces off every house on the river. Think of rubber fingernails on a rubber chalkboard.

I have used the CWB for about 5 years and I have never had any scratches or marring from it, but I make sure to clean it before and during use.

I use my wash mitt and car wash soap to clean it.

It makes drying so quick.

All the same idea with a different handle. I'm not even sure that CWB is a brand name. It might be like "sandwich bags." All will have a soft silicone/rubber blade.

I just got mine from autopia - ordered the wash n dry trio and I love it the ultimate drying towel is amazing but I made it only damp with the water blade which in some places like the hood completely dryed without the towel and i had no noise problems like someone else said, autopia also had fast shipping
