Drive the Porsche Cup racer to work!

I heard a familiar, but much louder, rumble of a flat six engine from the 10th floor window of my office today. I looked down to see a Porsche Cup racer (996 Carrera) being driven up on the sidewalk. I ran down to find it was here on it's way to a race venue but stopped by because one of the companies in my building is a sponsor.



I talked with the driver and some pit crew. They opened the the whole car for me. Awesome! The driver even took off and "handed me" the drivers door. 100% carbon fiber. Must have weighed 3 pounds. Wow!



This morning is starting out pretty good!

Living in Indy I have been fortunate enough to go the F1 race since it started coming back here 3 years ago. Unfortunately, I was unable to go this year. I really enjoy watching the Porsche Super Cup races at F1. Super fun cars to watch. Only wish I could jump on the track and drive.
