I am going to have a all aluminum truck body made for my auto detailing business.



It will have the equipment to reclaim water, central vacuum unit, lap top w/ printer among other things.



My question is what options would you have made into the unit? I don't want to hear about putting a jacuzzi in it or all that. Please tell me some real world things you would have in it.



I figure I am going to have shelves for the rags, racks for the chemical bottles, drawers for scrub brushes, rack for the buffers and DAs, etc...



What are some of your suggestions?
 
Seem like you have the basics pretty well in hand with your thinking.

A few things that come to mind are:

Make sure the floor is either treated plywood or painted metal so water will not hurt it over the long run.

Ventilated shelves or drawers for the wet stuff.

Painted bright white inside with maybe even a couple lights inside so you can see at night.

A small personal locker where you can keep extra clothes for those needed quick changes.

Sturdy hooks or pegboard so you can hang all your hoses, etc.

And more room than you think you need for the things you have not thought about yet but may want to have in the future.



I've been planning, drawing and measuirng various size cargo trailers for the past month and just oreder one that I intend to use for a portable SCUBA Diving locker.

Something close to the back to hold one of those big coolers of water...



That's just one thing I'd get because it gets so hot down here.



Otherwise it looks like you have a pretty good plan.
