The weather was decent enough here in Delaware today to do a wash on my Dodge Ram and try out the new DP Turbo Car Dryer
DP Turbo Car Dryer
I have a Master Blaster which I have on the bottom of one of my detailing carts. I tended not to use it as much as it was a pain to get the cart out and try and maneuver it around the car without hitting it. I even put pieces of heater tube insulation all around the car to prevent it from marring the car if it hit. My driveway has a slight incline which didn't help either. I found myself using my leaf blower more and more since it was quick to get out, maneuver around the car, and put away. When I saw the new DP Turbo Car Dryer I figured that this was the perfect hybrid between the Master Blaster and a leaf blower. Great power, easy to move around, and easy to carry. The Master Blaster, as much as it's an awesome drying machine, IMO is a beast to manipulate.
All and all I am very happy with the DP Turbo dryer.
Pros:
Easy to maneuver, lift, and move around car.
Decent power
Long extension cord
Two attachments
No issues with breakers tripping
Cons:
Not as powerful as the Master Blaster
No heated air
No filter.
One of the things I hate about washing is having to put everything away, wash out buckets, etc. Not having to move my detailing cart back into the garage and worry about dinging my car is a huge plus for me. With the the DP Turbo dryer I just wrap the cord up and put it in my detailing cabinet and done. If someone is mobile I can see how the DP Turbo dryer would be much easier to have as opposed to the Master Blaster.
