DP Max Wax - Red BMW (56k - No)

This is a weekly wash customer who decided it was time for a good cleanup and wax.

The car is a '99 with 100k miles. Overall it's in pretty good shape. Some rock chips and some minor scratches and swirling. The claying didn't pick up too much stuff...I was impressed.

Process:

Simple Green wheels/tires/wells

NXT wash

Zaino Z18 Clay

AIO via PC and polishing pad

DP Max Wax

QuikShine QD (including glass)

Armor All on tires and trim

Total time: 2 hours 45 minutes

Thanks for all the nice words! :)

We've had some unusual weather lately...lots of rain, overcast skies, and humidity.

The car could use a good deep polilshing to remove some of the moderate - severe problems, but it still looks really nice. The Max Wax gives it a really rich, wet shine.

Can you compare it to say, Souveran?

I haven't had the chance to apply Souveran to red yet, but the wax *itself* looks, smells, and applies exactly like Souveran.

Car looks great and it is not a hanger queen either. 6 years old and it doesn't even look dated. The car must seem like your own, wash and cleanup once a week, keep it like you like it.

Outstanding work! The paint looks really deep and wet.

I didn't get the Max Wax in my samples but I got the sealant and the sealant spray. Only had a chance to use the sealant on my washing machine and initially the slickness was okay but the next day, it was super slick. The spray is slick immediately and the appearance reminds me of EX-P.

Nice work Zane! I'll be using my new can of Max Wax for the 1st time on the BlkTac tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. As for your comment on the weather here lately, I agree! What's with all the humidity???? Ever since I moved here to West Texas the summers have been quite humid. What ever happened to the "dry" heat down here? (lol)

GREAT looking Bimmer. Very nicely done (well, except the blue bulbs in the clear corners, but that's not your fault) :)

I got the sealant spray (smells like donuts?!) and the sealant, but haven't tried them out on anything yet. This MaxWax looks pretty good. DP is coming on strong, eh?
