Protect and Shine
These door panels came out of a 1983 Ford Bronco that I am planning on fixing up over the summer. You can tell by the condition that they have been neglected. I took them out and wanted to see if there was any chance of saving them. As you can see by the pics there are some slight marks, but overall their able to be saved after many years of not being taken care of.

I cleaned it with hot water and an apc then used a sponge to apply an oil based dressing, I let that sit for awhile then buffed it off and applyed 303

Not bad results, but I will need to get a new arm rest pad for the passenger side panel. To me it seems that the panels in the newer cars don't last as long as the older models do.
 
Sorry about that. I used DRESS-ALL. I usually wouldn't use it on an interior part because its so greasy. These panels were so dry looking I decided to go with the greasiest product I had.

I sometimes do that too if something looks like it's dried out and about to crack or something. Is that "Dress-All" product still available for sale? Right now what I've been using is a 25-30 year old bottle of Turtle Wax "Armor Tuff" Dressing (something like that) that I found on a shelf when cleaning my garage out a few years ago.
 
Yes. I get mine from a local auto magic distributor that carries it, but I dont think this is one of their products. The label itself has 1st Choice written on it with the address of the store I buy it from.

Nice work, I wouldn't have changed any portion of your process...IE:

-Warm water/APC to clean
-Oil based to dress (PB TR is my choice)
-Touch up with water based or damn MF

Sean, did you mean "damn" MF, or "damp" MF? LOL!! :D
