Just wanting to know what is best product to use to clean them and is it worth giving them a good polishing and wax.



Also want to know what are peoples techniques at cleaning door jams including the boot jam.
 
Spray nasty areas with APC, clean everything else with ONR, then apply Duragloss Aquawax to aid in future cleanings. Maintain with ONR.

I go to great lengths to polish/LSP my doorjambs and similar areas. Many cars, even expesnive ones, aren't clearcoated in these areas and the paint has a rough texture that retains dirt and moisture. I get these areas as smooth as I can and protect them just like the hood of the car. Makes it a lot easier to keep 'em clean and I get a surprising number of compliments on how nice they look.
