Just had a knock on my door. Answered it, and BAM, a salesman, well, woman. Dang it. She was selling some crap for red stains. Some stain remover/all in one cleaner. Glass, fabric, paint, wood, etc...

Whatever.....

So she insists on on doing a demo. I told her I was not interested. SO she squirts my privacy fence and rubs. Of course it looks little cleaner. I pressure washed my deck last week, and it looks almost new. She said this stuff can get my fence to look new like my "NEW" deck. I told her my deck looked like the fence last week, and all I used was a pressure washer and water....lol.

Then she said she can get stains out of my carpet in my truck.....Ummmmmmmm No stains.... She said she can bring the trim back to life......Ummmmm..I am a detailer...see my trailer.....duh...

She sprayed my bumper trim, rubbed, and nothing! LMAO. I opend my trailer, grabbed my PB's Trim Restorer, rubbed it on, and BAM....looked new.

She has been selling the crap out of the stuff I guess. Almost all my neighbors bought some. She showed me the checks.... $150, $100, $300, etc. Nothing lowere than $100. My eyes grew to the size of oranges. She said she had a bet with the lady across the street that she could sell this stuff to me. HAHAHA, looks like she lost her bet!!!!! I told her if she gets the van she was riding around in, detailed, then I would buy a quart...lol :gotcha:

All in all, I slammed her with my detailing products! thinking I would fall into her trap and buy that crap.. Funny stuff. I feel sorry for all my neighbors who bought the stuff. I may go talk to them and tell them I can clean there entire car for what they just paid for a gallon of that stuff...:notme: :notme: :notme: :notme: :notme: :rofl :rofl :rofl

Time for a NO SOLICITING sign....
 
Sounds like some stuff my grandparents got suckerd into buying a few weeks ago. spent like $200 on 3 gallons of some super cleaner which is probably purple stuff rebottled.

I hate door to door salespeople. I have a no soliciting sign but it seems people can't read nowadays. I'm usualy a jerk to them since they want to act like they can't read. Doesn't take long before they're walking to the next place.
 
I just always answer the door in my underwear/boxers. It usually gets them off of my doorstep pretty quickly. I'm glad that you were able to show her up with your supplies Chris.
 
That must be one large company or there are a number of them doing this....I had one stop at our house about a week ago....same thing about stains and all...I opened up the garage and showed him my detail supplies....then told him that I work for a industrial cleaning supply house...we didn't have much conversation after that!
 
I had one of those type guys last week. He showed up with his little spray bottle. He should me some 0000 Steel Wool and told me that when used with his product, it would get off hard water marks on glass, metal, etc.

I explained to him what I do and what I carry and told him I didn't need any more cleaner. He said he was running a special of one gallon for $80 and two for $120. Eventually, he got the hint and left. I think I need to train Dundee to be more mean looking. :)
