Don't wash your Chenille wash pads or mits!!!

I was a dumba$$! I threw my CMA PC pads, cotton applicators, waffle weave MF, and my chenille wash pads in the washing machine last night. Everything came out with a nice layer of white chenille fuzz. Stupid, stupid, stupid! I had to use one of those lint rollers for suits on my CMA pads to get that stuff off. Don't try this at home or anywhere else!

Don't wash anything that lints with microfiber towels. I wash my chenille pads with my terry cloth towels, and microfiber separately.

You'll only do it once! ;)

Another "helpful hint to marital bliss" is to wash your mitts enclosed in a perforated "delicates" bag. It keeps the fuzz from getting all over everything, including the washer and in the drain or strainer. Also, wash on the "delicate" cycle. This agitates less harshly and spins slower but is plenty to clean mitts. They will last much longer this way. :up

didn't even think of that. Next time! To add insult to injury, I just shook out the MF. When I dried my car this morning, it got a nice layer of lint. Once it dried completely though, I was able to use a dry MF and get it all off.

Yeesh!

I would separate: PC pads, cotton stuff, and MF stuff (and glass MFs).

Oh well, live and learn right? :)
