Dog Hair out of the carpet

Anyone have a good answer for getting dog hair out of the carpet. I use a shopvac wet/dry vac but can't seem to get the hair out of the carpet. We cart three Great Danes around in my wife's PT Cruiser and this is something that will continue past the life of the car. Any help would be appreciated.

My technique is pretty much the same except I use distilled water/mist it and dog hair brush that I got from Linen-n-Things and vacuum with a shop vac.

But I will try snuggles

they have pet hair sponges and rubber brushes that you can get in the houswares section at Target or WalMart for removing pet hair

This works wonders..Spray then Vac

Wow I didn't know the PT Cruiser even had enough room for three Great Danes.

That is why we got it -- We can get two of our three Danes in there if we fold the seats up. Unfortunately the carpet really holds the hair.:wow:

:cooleek: Dude..... clear package tape works really great. Make sure it is the 2" tape so you can clear more of an area..

I assume you remove the rear seats to get 3 great danes in. I haul my greyhound in my PT & have the full molded cargo mat that helps speed clean ups. Do you have a black over red GT?

Royal Blue Exterior/Black Interior. Actually we just flip the seats up and they all stand up or lay down. Short rides obviously.

You might want to spray some enzyme deodorizer, if you are wetting the carpet. Keeps the wet dog smell away.

I use the clear shipping/packaging tape also, loop it around your hand and you have two sides to use. I will go through 5 rolled sections of tape per car, more for a van...you can do 10 - 20 cars with a roll of tape.

I guess thats at least 2 PTs used to haul great danes then. You could still use the full cargo liner as it has cutouts so can still use the rear seats & fold them up. I've driven PTs for 5 years & the seats go into storage the first week LOL. I've always loved big dogs, your 3 are real beauties.
