Does anyone here have any experience removing dog drool from leather seats? And vinyl seatbacks. And vinyl door panels. Nothing in the archives on this. Thank you.

Regular APC will work fine on all vinyl and plastic, and any leather cleaner will work on the leather. If you don't want to use specific cleaners, a bucket of hot water and a rag will work too.

I'm so sorry but I'm still laughing,

.....from leather seats, and vinyl seatbacks, and vinyl door panels, ..............

I was reading that and thinking "Geeeeeez, is this list ever going to end?"

I'd like to meet that dog.

A pal once had two St. Bernards and those two could really drool. Usually two washings before the stains came out of my jeans. Those were two great dogs. Thinking back, each one was bigger than my coupe.

As for cleaning vinyl, 10:1 water to woolite but I'd just try it straight, or the 1Z vinyl cleaner. 303 aerospace protectant to finish. It has a nice matte finish and offers a good base for the next round of dog drool.

Leather - any of the well known leather cleaners should work,

Is a picture of the dog out of the question?

I've transported my dogs in all of our vehicles except the XJS (too much exposed stitching in that one). I just clean up with a regular interior cleaner, never had a problem. Nice to not let it go too long, but dog drool is nothing especially nasty IMO.
