Doesn't it seem a little cool for Early October?

My wife and I go to car shows all summer every year. Basically from April through October. We've noticed that this year, in particular, it has been unseasonably cool all year! We were not in miserable Missouri heat all summer long!

That's highly unusual.

Now, in Early-October in KC, when we are usually having daytime highs in the low 70's... todays high will be 42!!!!!!! (High winds too!:out:)

Has it been the same in your part of the country?

I live in Kansas, and its below freezing today and we have had freezing drizzle. Tomorrow looks the same. But, its worse in Nebraska, I heard North Platte had over 15 inches of snow already. I hate this time of year, it makes detailing your car a pain in the butt.

Oh yeah it was really cool out today the inside my shop it was 96 give or take a degree.Fall is right around the corner it may drop to the 80's

Yes, it has been pretty cool this month. Whats worse than the cold though, is the on and off rain that we have been having for weeks! Two or three days of rain, followed by a day of sun, followed by more rain, etc. No way to keep a clean car!

This weekend is actually going to be pretty nice, no rain (today was great, got my car all prepped for winter), but it isn't even going to get out of the low 50's.

mid atlantic has been cool too. i look for a long cold snowy winter. but we're due for one. don't think we had more than a week of below freezing temps last winter

Been cool here in the north central about mid 40's. Usually I detail the car to put away for the winter at the end on Oct.(still in the 60's) and pull the truck out. Well this year I'll be luck to get the car wash before I put it away.

It's the "global warming" Bill ;-)

Weather is par for the course here - cool in the am until the ocean mist burns off then high 70's. Gotta' mow the lawn later this morning ...ahh the joys of home ownership!

Yeah here in the Tampa bay area the heat and humidity has been brutal the last couple days. If you have heard of the expression it is a 3 dog night in this weather it is a 3 shirt detail.

It has been crazy. 96 yesterday in Orlando, with crazy humidity...

On Friday it was mid 80s here in the Atl. We have been getting a good amount of rain in the past month or more, so no more lack of rain for sure.

Was out working on a 777 last night at 1am, it was clear out so it seemed to be cooler then it has been. It felt like I needed a long sleeve shirt.

I'll be meeting my brother up in Detroit tomorrow to look at a car for him. I think mid to high 40s and cloudy.

It's pretty cold here, in Upstate NY, too. I keep waiting for a warm day to put another coat of LSP on the daily drivers.
