Does SS need same cure time as CC before wax?

My father-in-law fixed up an old Jeep Commanche and is going to paint it with single stage white enamel . He'll be giving it to a friend who really needs a vehicle. It will be parked outside, and probably washed rarely due to the friend's health condition.

I hate to see my father in law's efforts go to waste, and would like to protect the new paint job before he gives it away. But I know it's normally recommended to wait 30 days or more before adding an LSP to a new paint job. Does that apply to SS or just to CC paint jobs? I would imagine both, but I thought I'd check, since I have no experience with SS paint.

Thanks for any advice.

SS and CC are no different in cure time. They are both essential the same kind of paint except that one is clear. Your choice is left to applying glazes to protect this paint. Something like #7 or 3M Imperial Glaze.
