I just used my Gel for the first time today, but didn't try to remove wax with it. Total Auto Wash WILL remove anything you put it on. It'll strip the car down to the paitn/clearcoat. I've used it once to remove Zaino and it cleaned the car very well.
I like TAW because you can use it on the paint, engine, and wheels. Expensive, but if used sparingly, money well spent.
