Does my RMG go before Wolfgang or vice-versa???

Here's my process,

1) Wash

2) Clay

3) SSR 2.5

4) SSR 2

5) Menzerna PO85RD

6) Clearkote RMG

7) Wolfgang sealant

My car is black. I got three simple questions (for experienced Autopians),

1--> IS the RMG in the right place or do i set it after WG sealant?

2--> How long should i expect WG sealant to last ? (I heard its great on black)

3--> can i top the WG sealant witha a paste wax like S100 or #26??

please only respond if you have the experience.

thanx :)

1) you got it correct sir.

2) depends on conditions your car faces really.

3) you most certainly can

hope this helps

RMG first and then the Wolfgang first. On my black car I have found 3 layers off WG to be the best for looks and then have been topping with Souveran. Cant comment on durability as shes a garage queen.

If you want you can depen the look by using the RMG and the Yellow Cream Wax before the WG sealant too.

In my experience, WG is similar to Blackfire and UPP. Very carnauba like look (unusual for a sealant) and very slick initially.

However, slickness will drop off dramatically after the first couple washes and durability (at least in harsh MI weather) is not great. For me, 4-6 weeks is the best I've gotten before it really needs to be refreshed.

Holy cow, Rich, your car loooks PHENOMENAL.

Thanx for the help guys.

What LC pad would I need for RMG and for WG to be applied??

I'll be using a rotary tough.

Cheers again.

In the above pics I had hand applied everything.

But have been using the Sonus DAS Blue for RMG since I go the PC.

Is there anything better than Wolgang Sealant in terms of *overall* performance and results???

I know this is an opinionated question but i'd like to see your opinions? I do need some durability though.

What are the top three and there durability specs??

thanx guys. weeee.

I'm wondering the same thing.

I currently have Blackfire on my car(2x) and really like it, very slick and glossy. It's been through a couple of thunderstorms and washes and has retained its slickness and beading ability. I like it a lot, but am interested in Wolfgang and how it compares to BF. From reading various threads, it seems to lack in durability but produces a carnauba-esque shine, which is what I'm interested in. It seems like there's a higher percentage of WG users than BF users here, however I'm not sure if that correlates to better results or just hype.

From my personal experience, and I've only recently switched to sealants, I like Klasse and Blackfire. But I'd love to hear more feedback on Wolfgang, Autoglym, and 1Z as they seem to be less prevalent than EX-P, Z5/2Pro, UPP, and AIO/SG among Autopians. :xyxthumbs

I think Poorboy's EX w/carnauba is more durable than Wolfgang but a toss up on appearance. Both look like quality carnaubas.
