Does anyone know the difference?

I can't help you here, but empathasize with your dilema. The descriptions for many products on most web sites selling detailing supplies are HORRIBLE. I nkw from personal experience that it can hurt their sales. A confused and increasingly upset costomer is not an ideal way to make money in sales.

This lack of information is IMO, disrespectful to the customer(s). Items need better descriptions, a way to compare basic to mid level specs between similar products, and removal of items that are virtually the same.

Comparisons for similar items should be specification itemized in a way that actually clearly assists the average customer in making an informed purchase.

Each type of product would need taylored specifications, but the concept would help both the customer and the detail supply houses and salons. These should be able to be compared in clear concise side by side tables, listing the products the customer has selected for comparison in columns and individual specifications in the subsequent rows.

This concept would cause a great deal of initial work for the dealers, but would pay dividends from that point on. Dealers and customers alike would immediately realize savings in time, cutomer issues, mis-ordered products, service, etc. Minor updates and edits would still create some overhead, but this type of overhead is already a part of maintaining any online catalog.

I have experience in these matters, as I have consulted in other industries on these matters for many years.

i have and got a reply from Lynn but they just recommended getting the MF kit. didnt really answer my question as to the difference in the towels.

Oh come on, KnuckleBuckett, if all the descriptions for detailing items were uniform, detailed, concise, and accurate, how could they use all that hyperbole to sell us the same stuff over and over while calling it new and different?

I am not trying to be an a$$. It is just that this kind of thing has helped to give the industry in general an untrustworthy reputation. Snake oil sales.

I am seeing regular evidence of the industry cleaning itself up, strengthening the reputation of detailing and detailing pproducts, and developing some fairly revolutionary products. However this needs to be marketed to the public in a far simpler and straight forward manner.

Doing this is by no means as difficult as repairing a copier.

I was just saying "C'mon dealers! Market your products on more effective sites!"
