Does any body else have this condition?

V_Eight

I wish I detailed good
I say it's a condition merely because it's been called such by some friends of mine. I have this "condition" that makes me want a new car every ~6 months. I am 23 and currently own my fifteenth (15) vehicle. I have lost a combined minimum total of $50,000+ between them from depreciation to modifications that didn't increase value any. The upside is this is my first new vehicle. Recently, my mind wanders to "what if I sold it?" or "what would I do if I owned a ______?".

Does any body else have this "condition"?

I'm 24, and I'm on my 5th, 3 were new. One was a temp hand-me down, one was crashed (not my fault), and then I had a new loaded 2002 Ranger EDGE which I loved and pimped out.

Then I got the bug for a V8, got a 2005 Supercrew loaded F150 and converted it to a full stage 2 ROUSH.

Then, before selling that I snagged a new 2006 5 speed hatchback Focus for a DD. Supposed to be a beater, ended up pimping it out a little bit too. ;)

currently I am itching for a Marauder with a supercharger or a classic truck resto project...

I had the Ford itch for a while too. Seven total, six of which were Mustangs. This is the last one:

That's a sick 'Stang!

I would love to get a new 2010 Fusion....the new Hybrid gets 41 MPG city, 8 better than the Accord and Camry hybrids. It's the highest mileage mid-size sedan in America.

Has some wicked cool technology, too.

Then again, can you say RAPTOR?

Oh Boy do I have this condition!!! I'm 22...On my 9th car currently...but to add to this "condition".... I CAN NOT buy a car without modifying it somehow. I'm one of those people that buy a car just to modd. And not like ricer mod either! Quick story: My current car I purchased, then 2 days after posted it up for sale to see if anyone would buy it! I'm a car nympho!

It's addicting...like detailing.

my 5th cousin twice removed had this condition right before he died....sad story really.... j/k

that is a real nice 'stang, and I want a new hybrid fusion....

I need to catch up to some of you guys I'm, 28 and only on my 2nd car but then I'm always thinking of other cars to buy just waiting for the right moment.

I mod cars so I don't have to sell them, but I end up selling them anyways. I had about 1200 hours in the Orange Mustang. At $90/hr, that's $108,000.

I think it boils down to wanting to have something to show for all my work, rather than a brand new Honda that blends in (although is mechanically golden). :nixweiss

Heh heh, I guess I'd qualify- a few years ago Accumulatorette and I tried to count up all the vehicles I'd owned up to then. We gave up around number 75 and I've had quite a few more since then. Seems I'm always ready to get something else to play with...I currently have eight and three of them are projects-in-process.

Accumulatorette is different, IIRC she's had six cars he whole life She doesn't plan to *ever* replace her A8 and she has zero interest in anything else. She doesn't mind borrowing my cars though, especially the fun ones, and she drove one Benz so much I started thinking of it as hers :D

My 21-year old girlfriend hasn't even ever owned a car! I'm trying to hold it out as long as possible. :nervous2:

my business parnter has this problem, he has had some crs he has owned less then a month. He buys them mods them and if someone likes it he sells it. he looses a ton of money on them...

I love to look at news cars but dont buy them, im 21 and on my second car. 1, a hand me down from my grandparents, it was an 94 old 98, man tha car was sweet. I started working out of town so my parents bought me an altima for my 18th. thats car 2. Im now 21. chances are good I will keep this car for another atleast 7 years. I want the house paid off before I buy another...but f i had the money i would buy a new car every 6 months for sure

I'm 22 and on my 4th, keep every car for about a year or so. Currently selling the cobra so...I can say I do have that condition.

Me too...lol I am eighteen (18) and am on my 3rd car already. My first one was a 2000 SS with an LS1, I had so much hatred for that car! Only had it for 3 months :)

Then I (my parents ;p ) picked me up a 1989 mustang gt. That was totaled, not my fault.

Now I am on my third. Its a 2003 mustang gt. I got it with 55k on it. Had the engine and suspension built at HPP Racing in Lewisville, Texas. The car makes close to 500whp n/a.

Hopefully I can get into a terminator one day!

I'm 23 and I've had 6 cars and 4 motorcycles...Something tells me I have the bug as well...I'm not gonna get rid of my Jeep any time soon though, it's the first car I've had that gets through the snow up here with no problem.

I'm 20, and i'm on my 5th.

I'm in college with no job... 19 with 1 car, given to me by my grandmother since my uncle gave her a new car. 1993 Lexus GS300. I plan on going through another 6 years of school an 4 years of low-paid "training" (aka I wanna be an MD). I plan on doing a standard 3 or 4 year vehicle rotation, I don't really get that excited over that many cars. 1 Porsche or M3/M5 every few years would be good enough for me =P lolol

All that is years and years away now, though.
