How do you guys apply Dodo Juice Hardwax? I saw a video of pinnacle wax applied to a lake country pad by removing it from it's containing and gently buttering the pad. Can you do that with dodo juice hardwax?

Thanks,

Mike

I have used paste wax with the PC and by hand. It is easier to do by hand. All the time it takes to take the wax out each time, and use your PC is a waste.

by hand or by machine is great

Dodo just launched a version of Supernatural in a stick form, like in a deodorant container, and its designed for really quick and easy swipes onto a machine pad and then machine application of a lovely thin even coat of wax - I have one of the first and its great :D

no idea if or when it be available in the US though as we only just got it over here 10 days ago ;)

How would you apply it by PC? I see how the stick wax can be applied, but what about the hard wax? a PC would be nice but I don't know if there is a way to do it..

just dab the pad in the pot (not always easy as the level drops) or scrunch it up and swipe it around. You could always just scrape a bit out and dab it on the pad. I use a 4" finishing pad and just run it about speed 3-4 to get a nice thin and even layer. Only the tight bits need hand application and I do those last using the pad off the machine....

I aslo like to apply wax by hand

but if you want to use the PS go to a hardware store and get a

plastic putty knife that will fit in the jar.... should be less then $1

then put it in a plastic bag to keep it clean

I use a butter knife, just scrape a little off and "butter" the pad. I use a LC blue pad set on 3 for the Flex it only takes a few minutes to apply to a entire car or truck and gets the coats real thin. Then I have the Polishing Pal from AutoGeeks and do around the trim and things with the little red pad on that. But I still apply the soft wax's by hand like Rainforest Rub :sadwavey:

Thanks guys. I think I'm just going to apply it by hand. Then I'm going to use a sheepskin pad with a microfiber cloth over it on my UDM to buff it off.
