Before I say anything, I know I was stupid for doing my own job with little experience so pointing that out will not be helpful
I also followed this guide Car body care tips: how to wash your car, polish and wax car exterior, how to remove scratches and more
Ok, so I had a few scratches which I tried repairing with some touch up paint (very stupid of me).. It looked ok after the spray, but it did not shine or match the rest of the car 100%, so I was told to use a cutting compound over the top then wax/buff my car..
The product I used is called 'Water Cutting Compound - abrasive"
I proceeded to do that after washing my car, and it came out even worse, thus making me regret even bothering to patch up these scratches.. Now I have two doors on my car which have uneven and unpolished paint, with a blotchy shiny bit in the middle.. These are my queries:
- is there anyway I can fix it, without the procedure being too risky
- how much would it cost to get fixed professionally
- the reasoning for it going like this..
- why is there a random shiny bit in the middle of where I compounded/painted
Sorry for the horrible quality of photos, I did it with my phone as I dont have a digital camera.
this is the side which is good, and a picture of my car: http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/6683/mainll7.jpg
here are two pics of the blotchy side:

here is another pic of the door, you can see a reflection of me, how it gets duller in the less shinier section of the car

PS: I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this and I'm also not sure how to make these pics thumbnails, so mods feel free to hotlink and/or move this thread.
