Dodge Viper Detail

I made a video of the exhaust on this beast car here: Dodge Viper Modded Exhaust - YouTube

This is a 2001 Dodge Viper with 589 HP AT THE WHEELS!!!

Much like Camaros, the clear coat on this paint was rock hard. I was able to one step it with M105 for about 85-90% correction.

This detail is going to go on for a few weekends at least, so here's just a teaser. I was only able to remove all the stupid stickers and correct the hood and roof.

Products used:

Heat Gun
Speedy Prep Towel
Ultima Waterless Wash Plus Concentrate
Griots Garage 6" DA
Meguiars M105
Optimum Microfiber Cutting Pad
Brilliant Glaze
Americana Paste Wax

After claying, the paint is a swirled mess!

Taking all those stickers off must have been a real pain but man, does that read look deep and rich now!!

Beautiful work and what a gorgeous Viper!! :bigups

sorry man, I do have some better pictures but I'll put those up when I actually finish this car. This car deserves to be taken pictures of when it's beautiful not when it's swirled and hologrammed out!

Nice job so far......

Nice toy

Thanks! This car is a beast!

Looking foward to the completed job. Removing stickers is NO fun!

Luckily the heat gun and patience made quick work of them :)

Thanks for looking Todd!

nice work!! and alot more i know what you mean about the paint whew!! hard as a brick.i use the 3m trizact system as they were using sekkens paint on the older models very high solids.i have 2 that i take care of a red 06 and a black 04 the 04 is sweeter ride to me. the guy i take care of these for has the 2013 on order.he is to be getting it in around march or April i think i am as excited as he is and btw they make a take off wheel for removing stickers it has its own tool or you can get attachment for you drill.the one i have is air driven and it doesn't hurt the paint.

Looking good Roshan !!!!

Thanks! The decals were actually quite easy to take off with a heat gun. Just heat, lift off edge, and then peel off. :)

I think you are talking about the 3m stripe off wheel?
