Heres the before shot of the VERY swirled black...wasn't able to get any good shots of the swirls because my camera batt died...

I used my PC with all of the pb ssr's. Topped with one layer of z2.

Hard to believe someone can drop the cash on one of those and then let the finish get that bad. :scared:

I know this one HAS a viper engine, I believe its an 04. I can't remember. VERY fast. He took me for a spin in it, and it sure does go. (although my fathers lightning would tear it a new one)

Dodge owns the fastest truck built, to this day.....

Nicework...hard to believe it got that way. Some people dont have any pride....oh well.
 
I'll admit that I'm not the biggest Dodge fan, but I would buy that truck in a heartbeat if I had the cash to burn. Did you guys see the special on it on Car and Driver TV? They basically stated that the truck is good for one thing, and that's destroying tires!! LOL!

Supposedly the Lightning is pretty cheap to mod, theres a cheap pulley upgrade that nets a real 50whp I believe....

This SRT10 had a chip, k&n intake, and an exhaust, yes it was very fast...But My dads lightning, chipped, pulleyed, exhaust, intake would take it. And It also handles better in my opinion. But I'd still take EITHER of them in a heart beat! I just think the lightnings are more "sporty"

Actually, yes and no. Yes, it is the fastest truck. But the lightning has a quicker 0-60, 1/4 mile, 60-0, etc. Top speed wise the SRT-10 is faster though. :D
 
Actually, both 0-60 times are very close, low, low 5's. Tops speeds are within 10 mph of each other. Ford has an awesome motor program no doubt. For two engines to be so close in performance, and one being a V-8? Incredible to say the least......
 
I've driven both, and the lightening definatly feels faster. Then again, it had a pulley, exhaust ect, and the dodge was stock. I also attribute some of the slowness to the dodge's HUGE size.
 
I know quite a few guys and can only pull low 14's in th 1/4 mile with their dodges. The clutch makes it really hard to launch. Lightning would definitely be able to beat it.
