Dodge Durango Road Paint Removal

We received this Dodge Durango last week that was unfortunate to have had it's owner drive through some fresh road paint coating the entire bottom of the truck, trim, wheels and wheel wells in a thick, yellow coat of paint. We pressure washed off as much as we could off the wheel wells, trim and tires before going to work removing the paint from the delicate surfaces. After hours and hours of work the paint was finally off and we finished up by washing and waxing the truck.

It is a pita... My lovely wife drove our brand new Acadia along a fresh coat of solid white stripe like this and its crazy how it built up and solidified on the inside of the wheel well and along the side of the vehicle. It appeared to have a bit of sand in the mixture?! I used clay/lubricant like he said for the paint but the inner fenders were the hardest and they weren't smooth... Ended up using 3m Safest Stripper Paint and Varnish Remover I had for another project and a very soft wire brush and then resprayed with rubberized undercoating to make it like new again...
