Do you usually use VM as a glaze or a polish?

Glaze for me. It has very, very little defect removal abilities so it's perfect just prior to wax to clean up the surface and leave a wet, glass-like finish.

VM will not remove swirls or scraches but will hide minor swirls, I also use it as a glaze with excellant results. IMHO it is one of the best glazes out and very easy to use both in shade or sun. It does leave a bit of protection (wax) behind but you really should top it with your favorite wax or sealant.

Always a glaze for me, hence why I am trying both RMG and the yellow moose cream wax now, as I have never really used VM for its polishing side. Usefull for paint in good shape before wax.

Must admit that it is a good tool to use to touch up minor marks. Had a water spot etch on the paint earlier from some where between my WG coats, a quick touch up with some VM and it was gone before some more WG.

Never used it stand alone.

I use it mostly as a glaze but it does a decent job on minor paint transfers and by hand I was able to remove light overspray from the wheels on that yellow M3 I did last week.
